Longwood Garden Engagement Session

When Samantha and Frank booked me for their wedding, they loved the idea of having their engagement photos at Longwood Gardens. I was just there a week earlier but back to back Longwood Gardens engagement session sounds like a dream come true! Longwood Gardens is an absolute gorgeous place! But as a creative person, delivering unique images to my clients is paramount. I had a recent engagement session at Longwood Garden, so I wanted to deliver something different than the last session. Thankfully, Longwood Gardens is huge and has tons of different places that serve as cool backdrops!

Upon walking up to the greenhouse, I saw a gorgeous bridge and immediately knew what I wanted to do. I gave Samantha and Frank instructions, got into position and captured a cool shot of them on the bridge. After that, we headed into the greenhouse. I should have done the entire engagement session in the greenhouse! The opportunities are endless and I had to make a decision to leave, or we would have spent all day in there!

After the greenhouse, we came across a really cool field where Frank showed us his sweet dance moves! Mostly he stood there and spun Samantha, but still looked damn cool doing it! After a quick outfit change, we headed to another part of the park where tulips took over cherry blossoms as the main attraction.

When I take engagement photos, I like to sit back and let the couple interact with each other, and capture their reaction to each other. That’s where you see the real magic! It’s my clients that make the images what they are, I’m just there to capture their magic! Me and my team are definitely looking forward to Samantha and Frank’s Normandy Farms wedding!!!
